Church Hill Public Library

The City of Church Hill established the Church Hill Public Library, the Eastern Branch of the Hawkins County Library System in 1952.   The town’s public library has grown from a tiny town library with few books, to a large busy center of town activity.

In 2007, the city of Church Hill bought and renovated the empty IGA grocery building increasing the library’s size to approximately 9,000 square feet. Boasting over 20,000 items including books, audios, videos, DVDs, music, and magazines. Our services include nine public access computers, copier and fax services, tax forms, children’s programs, and inter-library loans.   Branch Manager Maureen McDaniel, along with eight support-staff members, work diligently to provide personal service to over 6,000 patrons.

The library is located in the Church Hill Shopping Center.
